New Earrings

These are the new earrings I made for my sister! I used a hoop wrapped with waxed rope and then I added a small crochet ball! And here they are...

Scarf

Here in Stockholm is still very cold! Temperature lately is around -15 again, and even colder so a scarf is a very warm gift. This is the scarf I am knitting for my boyfriend, and hope to finish with it soon.

Alexandra's Cookies

Last Sunday I made some delicious cookies with marmalade. I found the recipe in Alexandra's blog that's why I named the cookies like this. The blog is in Greek but I will translate the recipe.

Ingredients:

350 gr. (maybe a bit more) flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla powder
218 gr. sugar
180 gr.soft butter
1 egg
marmalade you like (I used one with mixes berries)
 
In a bowl combine butter, sugar, and vanilla and mix using an electric mixer until smooth. Then add the egg and continue mixing well. Finally add the flour and the baking powder and start mashing with hands until we have a soft dough that does not stick to the bowl or to our hands.
Then divide the dough into small balls (the size of a walnut), put them in a pan, and push the ball a bit in the center for making a small curve for the marmalade (you can see Alexandra's images) and add half of tsp of marmalade in the curve.
Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.

it's been a while since my last post. The truth is that most of the things am I doing right now have not finished, but I will post some photos of them the next days. This is a pair of earrings made with needle felting and wire.
